Quilting In The Hoop

Hate to stipple?  Then don’t.  Learn how easy it is to use your versatile embroidery machine to do the hard yards for you!!!  This is a club not to be missed.

REQUIREMENTS:

See Sewing Club Requirements to create Cheryl’s striking wall hanging OR

See the following page to create your own wall hanging in the correct measurements for club.

To create your own you will require:

  • .8 Main Fabric
  • .8m Backing Fabric
  • .8m Iron on Pellon H640
  • .3m Binding

To quilt either version you will require:

  • NO STABILISER!!!
  • King Tut variegated thread
  • Bobbins filled with the King Tut thread
  • Templates of the quilting designs

General Sewing Tools Required:

  • Embroidery Machine
  • Embroidery Foot
  • 180 x 130 hoop minimum
  • Air Fadeaway Marker
  • Size 90 Inspira Embroidery needles

 

For those of you NOT doing Cheryl’s Sewing Club either before Embroidery Club or not at all then please have the following ready.

 Use a permanent marker to draw the following lines of the main fabric.  Alternatively stitch lines onto the main fabric.  This will simulate the wall hanging Cheryl has created for Sewing Club.
